Si-e-tir Street

“See You in Iran tours” are interactive sociocultural outings. We try to create an atmosphere to connect our guests and locals.

Si-e-Tir Street is famous for having different communities living on the same street; Armenians, Zoroastrians, Muslims and Jews are all having their own neighborhoods.
Si-e-Tir starts from Imam Khomeini Street where Tehran gate, Mashgh sq. and National museum are located. By walking through the street ceramic and glassware museum, Armenian Church, Zoroastrians fire temple and school and many local shops will come along.
In this Tehran tour we shall start our presentation at the See You in Iran Hostel. We take metro to Imam khomeini metro station. The first place is Tehran gate which is one of the famous land-marks of Tehran. Behind the gate is Mashgh sq. where we have got the foreign affair ministry office, and Tehran College of Art. The complex had its main development at Qajar’s era and also had a very important role at the time of Pahlavis.
National museum is also at a walking distance which was designed by french architect Andre Godard. Then we walk towards Ceramic and Glassware museum which was curated in 1977. On the other side of the street there are Armenian Church and the fire temple.  From the other perspective Si-e-Tir is a living neighbourhood with many local shops, fast foods, and etc.
