See you in Iran’s new partner accommodation is Puppet Museum Hostel which was founded by a theatre graduate who has always been passionate about Iranian folkloric plays, named Amir Sohrabi. His aim is to become able to introduce different Iranian ethnicities and cultures through toys and puppets as he states that they differ from a region to another. Every part of Iran in accordance to their geography and vegetation has its own dolls and puppets made from a grain indigenous to them with which their culture, costumes and livelihood can be described. The idea of opening up a museum, simultaneously with the idea of emigrating from Tehran, came to him a few years ago. He went to Kashan, found the house and became determined to convert it into a museum. The house is now enlisted as a national heritage. After two years and tedious struggles due to negligence of official figures to fund the establishment he decided to add accommodation to the museum in a hope of becoming economically sustainable. At the moment the museum includes a few private rooms which are elegantly decorated by local handicrafts and two dorm rooms. Travelers can visit the museum while they are residing in hostel and hosted by a team of friendly and amiable staff.

سفری از سالن های تئاتر به اقامتگاه سنتی و خانه موزه
امیر سهرابی موسس خانه موزه‌ی عروسک و اسباب‌بازی، فارق‌التحصیل رشته تئاتر میباشد و همیشه دغدغه تئاتر های فولکلور ایران را در ذهن داشته است. او معتقد است در ایران عروسک‌ها در مناطق مختلف با یکدیگر متفاوتند. این تفاوت از گوناگونی جغرافیا و پوشش گیاهی در ایران سرچشمه میگیرد. هر منطقه عروسکی دارد که با استفاده از غله قابل کشت، محصولات و ابزار در آن منطقه ساخته میشود که نمودی از فرهنگ، لباس و نحوه امرار معاش مختص به مردم آن منطقه است.
ایده‌ی تاسیس این اقامتگاه و موزه چند سال پیش همزمان با ایده‌ی مهاجرت از تهران در ذهن امیر شکل گرفت. در سفری به کاشان امیر بنای اقامتگاه را پیدا کرد و مصمم شد تا آن را به اقامتگاه / موزه تبدیل کند. این بنا به عنوان میراث ملی ثبت شده است. پس از سپری شدن دو سال از فعالیت موزه، به علت کمتوجهی مسئولان مربوطه، امیر تصمیم گرفت در راستای خودکفایی مالی بخش اقامتگاه را به موزه اضافه کند. در حال حاضر خانه موزه، دو اتاق خوابگاه و چند اتاق خصوصی با طراحی محلی را شامل می شود.
