The physical and face-to-face aspects of the See You in Iran Cultural House project is satisfied through holding events in our hostel. By organizing and hosting a wide range of events such as workshops, talks, movie nights, art exhibitions, jam sessions, etc., we are moving beyond the reductionist and obsessive representation of Iran. Last year, in order to create deeper and more nuanced and consistent content, we decided to have more focused themes for our events every six months and since then we have had “Baluchestan”, “Afghanistan”, and “Immigration” as our focal themes. Our next theme will be “Middle Eastern Women” and we hope to collaborate with like-minded individuals, NGOs, and organizations and look forward to hearing from anyone who is interested.
