For me the Nasir ol Molk mosque was the highlight of Iran. The fantastic light effects, the enchanting, spiritual and gay atmosphere made it a marvellous place. Do not miss it, and go in the morning early. I missed the first sun because of course I was a little bit late and I am still regretting not waking up earlier … I could have stayed here for hours (in fact we did). If you remember the picture Pey Man made here this day of the Dutch man with the short pants we discussed of course his behaviour with the Imam. Why this compatriot thought he had the right to wear what he wanted, why he didn t repspect the environment, he missed a lot. At one moment the prayer started (dohr) and the praying people in the coloured light were really enchanting…. best sit down and let the words to Allah come over you … bismillah rahman rahim … el hamdullillah rabil alamin …
