When we traveled in western Iran, my friend Samuel Zuder took this wonderful photo for an Iran photobook we did for “National Geographic”. It has always been one of my favourite pics from the whole trip. These kids were playing football in a Kurdish village, not far from the area where the horrible earthquake happend a few days ago. I was so devastated to hear about it, now I just hope they are doing well. Anyways: It’s great to read about all the efforts in this group to help earthquake victims!
