Hallo, dear friends,
I would like to share my impressions about the trip to Iran i had in October. I still look at my pictures every day. It is a wonderful country- history, beauty, food, people. I have travelled to Tehran by plane and then took a night Fadak train to Shiraz. I wanted very much to travel with this train, and it was a good experience- i was alone in the whole compartment. Morteza Fazel helped me with buying me the train ticket and sim card and waited me i at the airport for a transfer. He helped me a lot with everything along my whole trip, even if he was on a trip with a group. Here I want to thank him very much!
The only ( i don’t wanna call it bad ) experience in Iran, was with taxi drivers. But I think they are all same allover the world . From them I learned the word “kharjie”, wich means “foreigner”- and the price goes up 4 times! Until i started to use Snapp and didn’t have to deal anymore with them.
I have been in Shiraz, Yazd, Esfahan, Kahan, Hamedan and Tehran (and around). I am looking forward for my next trip in April.
PS. I saw a post few days ago, a girl from Morocco complaining he was cheated as a solo traveller. I don’t have this impression at all. As a solo traveller, I was supported wherever i go- was invited by families to share their table in restaurants or tea houses. Not any abuse anywhere- this is the safest place I have ever been!
