Hi. I was invited to your page from a friend of mine in Iran. I am an American, and i flew to Iran, on Iran Air, when i was 17 yrs old to marry my boyfriend. I waited a few months after the revolution ended. I lived in Tehran for nine years during the war, and I was asked “do you want to go back to your family”? I immediately said ” no, i will not leave my family and friends here. I had not seen my parents or my sisters for nine years, and I wanted to see them, and share my new family with them. I have not been to Iran in 28 yrs, and hopefully I will be returning this year. It will be one of the happiest times of my life when i can walk down the streets again, catch a taxi, go shopping, eat the wonderful food, and just be there and see everything and everyone again. I will always consider Iran my home, and the Iranians my friends. The photo below is of my daughters 1st birthday party. Hope to See you in Iran soon.
