Five women taking turns, cooking Samanu. It has to be cooked for at least 24 hours and you have to steer it all the time. It is made out of wheat. I haven’t seen anything like that before and automatically started taking pictures. Women asked if I would like to steer and took photos as well because never saw a foreigner doing that. The pot has wishes written onto it and according to tradition, you have to make a wish while you steer it.
