“The island of Qeshm, in the south of Iran, is a magical place for me,” says Germany-based Sima Julia Nodjavan. She took this photo during her trip to Iran in late spring last year. “Every time I visit Iran and my family there, I have to go to Qeshm and spend a couple of days in that place, no matter how long my stay in Iran is,” she says. “My favorite spot in Qeshm is the mangrove forest; spending the whole day on a Lenj (traditional ship), watching fishers fishing, local kids swimming and playing around, the ebb and flow of the sea, various of species of birds and the perfect sunset with a perfect traditional dish. All this together makes this place and this moment so magical.”
«جزیره‌ی قشم در جنوب ایران برای من یک مکان جادویی است.» این را سیما جولیا نوجوان ساکن آلمان میگوید. او این عکس را در سفرش به ایران در اواخر بهار سال گذشته گرفته است. او میگوید: «هر زمان که به دیدن ایران و خانواده‌ام در آنجا میروم، باید به قشم سفر کنم و دو روزی را آنجا بمانم.» جولیا نوجوان میگوید: «جنگل حرا یکی از مناطق محبوب من در قشم است. دوست دارم تمام طول روز را روی لنج بمانم به تماشای صید صیادان، شنای بچه‌ها و بازی آنها؛ جزر و مد دریا و گونه‌های مختلف پرندگان بنشینم؛ با آفتاب عالی و یک غذای محلی بی‌نقص. همه‌اینها با هم یک مکان و یک لحظه‌ی جادویی خلق میکنند.»
