We are so tempted to write about #Trump’s tweet, threatening to attack the #Iranianculturalsites. But we cannot do so without putting it in the context of a broader analysis of the recent events inside and outside Iran. Unfortunately we cannot offer that. First, because it seems that most people do not care about what progressive Iranians living inside Iran, who do not want to fall into the binary of Iranian versus American governments, think. Second, because we do not feel safe doing so. So interpret our silence as an indicator of our living conditions inside Iran. And let it be a reminder of the unheard voices from inside Iran throughout all these years. Voices that do not count in the world of guns and domestic/international imperialism.
