During recent months, a series of domestic and geopolitical incidents caused a sharp drop in the number of Iran’s incoming international tourists, leading to a financial crisis for See You in Iran Hostel for the first time since its inception in December 2016. Now with the global spread of the coronavirus, there seems to be little prospect for a remarkable turnaround. But our community will still remain active through grassroots cultural efforts, hoping it will be able to resume its tourism activities when international travel continues and Iran is safe and hospitable for those who are eager to visit.
در ماه‌های گذشته یک رشته از حوادث داخلی و همچنین ژئوپولیتیک موجب افت شدید تعداد گردشگران خارجی ورودی به ایران شد که به یک بحران مالی برای هاستل See You in Iran برای اولین بار از تاسیسش در آذر ماه سال 1395 انجامید. حالا با گشترش جهانی ویروس کرونا انتظار تغییر قابل توجه شرایط دور از ذهن خواهد بود. اما مجموعه‌ی ما همچنان با استفاده از تلاشهای فرهنگی مردمی فعالیت خود را حفظ خواهد کرد؛ با امید به اینکه در صورتی که سفرهای بین‌المللی ادامه پیدا کنند و ایران امن و پذیرای مسافران علاقه‌مند به سفر به این کشور باشد، خواهیم توانست فعالیتهای گردشگری خود را از سر بگیریم.
