“This is just what life means: a cool spring night in Taleghan; the whispering sound of mom’s prayer as the samovar bubbles,” says Zahra Nourani who took this photo in the countryside town of Taleghan, Alborz Province, where they travel occasionally to escape Tehran’s heat, air pollution and traffic. “This is life going on,” she says. “I captured a frame that was in front of me. Without any filter or manipulation.”
